LA seems to be inevitably doomed to "fall into the ocean" by perpetual earthquakes.

there is supposed to be an island in the atlantic that will sink no earlier than the next century that is supposed to cause a wave big enough to travel to ohio!

who's gonna bite the dust first? personally i can live without the knicks and the clippers...

its not a fucking island thats going to sink, its some continent-i think the huge banks in africa, that are suppose to fall into ocean and come our way. Its not a joke , geologists are predicting it and have past evidence as this type of deal causing tremendous force. Actually it happend just here recently, i think i n canada, when a mountain slid and some tiny boat went thru the tree tops to the top of the opposite mountain and lived to tell about it. The scientists were always wondering why the trees from water to 200' altitude were stuned. Now they now. The skipper and gilligan claimed(sorry cant remmeber who they were but this is true) said they though a nuclear exposion had gone off. Then seen mile high wave common for them and kissed there asses goodbye. They got lucky.

i think we're talking about the same scenario, but different origins. it is supposed to be an island in the atlancit ocean in between europe and america that is falling into the ocean. it is actually closer to europe, but the side of it that is falling is the side facing the atlantic coastline in america, so NY, Mass, etc are going to take the biggest hit. scientist estimate this event to happen between 60 and 300 years.
