What are your Thanksgiving Plans?

We're having the feast T-day at the house, then off to the city for a three day weekend at my favorite hotel.

I haven't been to the city (NYC) for play in a long time - so I'm excited.
 
Going to have our feast, open fire roasted pork, mmmmm fresh... with tons of sides. I'm making my peaches Frisky ;)

Then off Friday to The LSU game
 
Not a darn thing, no family will be in town, Christmas will be the big bash. I've always considered Thanksgiving a bit over-rated.
 
Im flying to Chicago where my parents will pick me up and we are off to Wisconsin for my mom's side of the family gathering where we will indulge in the traditional turkey, stuffing and green bean casserole among other things.

On my dad's side of the family, they will be having ham, turkey, and the main dish is my aunt's homemade lasagna - so fucking good. they better save me some
 
My sister is coming to VA Wed. night. We are going to make all of the traditional stuff our Mom use to make.

On Friday, she and I are hitting the mall (I hate malls, but she wants to go).

On Sat., start the day with brunch at my favorite bookstore then hit the Smithsonian museums.

I have to make SIX pies. I'd planned to bake all the pumpkin and puree it today but it didn't happen. lol I'm guessing Wednesday night and Thursday morning will just involve frantic baking.

I'm going to my mom's parents' place. It's 2-3 miles from my house. My grandfather has terminal cancer so I want to get to spend all the holidays I can with him. :)
 
I'll be in Kentucky with a crew of about 15 other guys working :(. Looks like it's gonna be a turkey sammich from Subway (if their open).

One year in Ohio I got carryout ribs on Thanksgiving.

I made this deal to work Thanksgiving if I could be home for Christmas....that's when my WHOLE family gets together on X-Mas Eve, and then the familys of my siblings get together with their In Laws on X-Mas Day....so I guess it's worth it.
 
The usual stuff.

Sit in front of my TV with rabbit ears watching football, eat a Hungry Man frozen turkey dinner, and drink myself into a stupor.
 
My parents are coming into town to stay with us.

They are taking us baby shopping Weds and Fri ... yay

And they are cooking Thanksgiving dinner for us .... I am SO excited. :) I haven't seen my parents in 5 months! :heart:
 
Thanksgiving dinner at my cousins' house. I haven't seen some of them in years so it will be nice. I only have to work Monday and Tuesday. I'd like to go somewhere, but I don't know where to go.
 
Bel Air Country Club. I think the one reason my grandma hasnt let her lung cancer kill her yet is because she knows I love our yearly dinners at the club.

Grade-A food in a buffet setting. I gain 15 pounds each dinner.

I bet you Goldy Locks loads his plate up high, then takes it to the kitchen, tosses it all in the blender, takes his "shake" back to the table then announces that it's the new Thanksgiving Weight Loss Shake with a flex of his muscles, a spring in his step flirting with every granny in sight.
 
im making a turkey for the two of us with homemade stuffing and of course some other sides.

i wish all of you a happy thanksgiving

i dont use plates, i get fed grapes, thankyouverymuch ;)

i dont have airconditioners for the same reason ;) i just have a chickiebabe with ostrich feathers crouching behind my laptop ;)
 
Me, husband & stepdaughter going out to dinner.....Depending on how I feel - I may do a 5k run that morning....
 
Leaving Wed and driving three hours to Pax River. Cooking all day Thu with my sister-in-law and setting a table for 10!!! Wooohoo!!
And givining thanks to the man upstairs!

I have so much to do before Wednesday.
