I usually go right up to her, eyes on hers and tell her how attractive she is, how beautiful her skin is and proceed to ask her if she wants to have a drink or dance, it's on her.

The eye contact is important, it lets a girl know you are genuine and not some wishy washy punk who just wants to play.......gotta have real intent to get what you want.
