A book called "The Nine Things YOu Must Do to be Successful at Love and Life." --Sort of just a common sense read. He throws in lots of Christian stuff, so if you don't like that sort of thing stay away. I'm also reading, "Find it, Fix it, Flip it" --about flipping real estate.

who is the author?

Michael Corbett for the real estate book
The other one is Dr. Henry McCloud.

'Devil in the White City' by Erik Larson
'On a Pale Horse' by Piers Anthony

I'm reading 'On a Pale Horse' for the 4th time and 'Devil in the White City' for the 3rd.

1. Dig it up
2. Pull the Tooth
3. Play the Movie
4. Do Something
5. Act like an Ant
6. Hate Well (This doesn't mean what you think it does)
7. Don't play Fair (This doesn't mean what you think it does)
8. Be Humble
9. Upset the right people.

LOL. Actually, I doubt you would like it. It isn't a very intellectual read. I just like reading stuff like this sometimes.

"Devil in the White City' is about a serial killer that haunted the World's Fair in Chicago back in the late 1800s. If you love history with a dramatic twist it's outstanding. It also covers the construction of the World's Fair. The structures they attempted to create would boggle the mind, even by today's standards.

'On a Pale Horse' is about a man who becomes Death (who rides a pale horse) after killing Death, not knowing who he was. It's a Sci-Fi type of book, but not in a Star Wars kind of way. It's very well written and a quick read.

Purchased 2 books on evolutionary psychology:
The Moral Animal ... recommended to me by Lao Tzu
The Blank Slate

Haven't started reading either due to my crazy work schedule but plan to start this weekend.

If I was a raiders fan, I would take up reading too.

Well since I'm not a Raider's fan anymore I thought I would do more reading.

Usually I read a book a week - I try to mix up novels and biographies with business books...

At the moment I am reading "Angry White Pyjamas" by Robert Twigger...Very funny and very true if you have lived in Japan at all.
