I'd do the same, alghouth I'd be leery of an asskicking. Most guys don't wanna hear that their girlfriend is a cheap slut.

Anyway as for my success ratio...I'd say about 30-40%. I dunno if they're just being polite or what, but I can usually have a decent conversation with 4 out of 10 girls at the bar. However, I've only had a small handfull want to take me home right off the bat. They usually scare me.

In my younger days I did pretty well. But now it is comical. One night my friend and I must have asked 7 girls each to dance, we got shot down every time. We were probably 10 years older or more than most of them. I still think i look pretty good, but maybe i am deluding myself.

I never really approach girls, I have a girlfriend so thats always a good excuse. I worked in a nightclub and girls would always be asking people what my name was and trying to talk to me when I had to be working. Sometimes when girls come up to be and are like "me and my friends think your really hot" I usually say "yeah thanks my girlfriend thinks I am hot also". This makes my friends mad pissed, My buddy is always saying "WTF is wrong with you giving up pussy like that".
