WHAT are you and WHY?

A Strength Athlete? (YES for me)

A Strongman?

A Powerlifter?

A Bodybuilder?

I'll start. I am strength athlete bc I am an athlete before anything else. I can play any sport efficiently and on a very high level. I do not want to single myself out and be one particular thing. I want to be excellent at everything. Strength Training is perfect for me in that respect. :)

I didn't want a poll bc I want to see what you are and why you are. What's the make up? Thanx in advance

I am a weak little bitch.

However, I would like a blend of all the above and am working towards it. The main problem is finding some good bros out here to play with and keep me going. I have more later but that is a pretty good summary.

I would have to pick strength athlete.

I started out wanting to be a bodybuilder and just get freakishly huge but thats just not me anymore. I've always excel'd at pretty much every sport skillwise but I never had the physical conditioning. I will though, after I finish my bulk up...got 1 week left... I will be working on my speed, quickness, endurance, and of course strength. :)

None of the above. I am a weight lifter.

I'm not interested in weights as a means of competition - except for maybe competing against myself.

But I do like getting bigger and stronger.

I am a bodybuilder by choice. I started just to become bigger. At 6'3 and 144lbs, I was considered a walking pencil. From the first day I gripped the cold iron in my hands, I knew I could never let go. It became a love affair. The feeling I got inside each time a lift went up in weight, I gained some size, I got a good pump or worked up a good sweat, was just incredible. It gave me a feeling of self worth, a new found confidence. I no longer walked around with my head down. I held my head up high, I looked people in the eye. It was if I found the missing piece of the puzzle in my life. I had finally found a solid ground. I had become much more than just a casual trainer, I became a bodybuilder for life.

I am a strongman primarily, but a little of all of the above. I use the powerlifts to improve at strongman, I like to have a decent physique, and I want to be more athletic all the time:)
good post bro

Strength Athlete/Part time bodybuilder :)

Edit: Oh, forgot about why. Because I train mainly for sports...sometimes for size.
