what are you afraid of?

i was in the import business in south florida early - mid 80's.

ah.
my father was in prison with noriega (in florida) for the same reason. Homestead.

Ultimately.....failure to achieve my objective.
I have faced my physical fears one by one until there was nothing left.
Now there is just the psychological.

I have a fear of drowning and sharks, yet I'm an avid scuba diver. Go figure.

I fear failure, and that holds me back lots.

I fear stupid things like renewing my tags. (I know that is weird) I cook up weird scenarios in my head where I end up going to jail for an oversight. lol.

I'm weird.

Don't worry about sharks. It's the spiders that want to KILL everyone. A spider once kept me on my front porch(groceries in hand) for about 30 minutes! It was jusr sitting on my door handle...just giving me the evil eye. Finally, someone showed up and killed it for me but it still sucked. I had been throwing stuff from the grocery store at it, trying to make it leave. I was throwing rolls of paper towels, a box of garbage bags, and a bunch of other stuff. My night was ruined. I'm not even gonna go into the shower/spider story. :worried:

i believe most men have a difficult time admitting
that they have fears. women seem more open and
honest about anxiety and fear. i guess this is natural
but none the less, unfortunate.

fear is the corroding thread in our fabric that
short circuits our ability to move forward and it
stops us from realizing our full potential. until
it is recognized and dealt with, it wields a lot of
destructive power.

i believe a lot of folks here are on some form of an
acknowledged path of change. changing your body
through fitness is usually an indication that something
deeper is cooking.............

"Our most tragic decisions are based on fear"

^^ I said that. LOL

I have never been more terrified of life than I am *right now*.

I have to find a way to not be, or I will fuck up my dream.

oh lol this sounds like something I would do.

Except one type of spider. The 'hanging out on the wall' spider that never moves. He's friendly. The small cute looking one.

It's funny because tarantulas don't bother me...maybe it's because of the pretty hair they have. :qt: I am HELLA scared of all other spiders.
