What are the scariest books you’ve ever read?

you're gonna get a ton of King and Koontz replies.

trust me, American Psycho is in a different league. It was acutally going to be banned, due to the content. Do a search on Amazon.com and read the reviews on the book.

I just read 2 by Chuck Palahniuk - Lullaby Song and Diary. Not really "scary", but pretty fucked up and interesting.

You can buy it on amazon. I actually had to put this book down several times, because I felt like I was going to lose my lunch! It's one of those books that you will still think about, years after you read it!

isnt that mostly blood and guts ect? eating people and carving em up? i've heard the book is good, but dont want to read a gore book
