Would it be so bad in the face of such a tragic event that the docs/hospital and insurance companies not charge millions for each breath these people take, or here is something incredibly crazy, they could try to donate supplies, meds, just a little bit.

There's a sad footnote to this survivor story, however. According to the pastor and the campaign's website, Anderson's mother, Kim Anderson, has terminal cancer.

Yea the bills are crazy, the guy in the coma, whose wife had a baby recently, bills are up around 2 million lol really I hate the system in the states seems like a joke, but I'm from Canada so universal health care only makes sense to me

Actually I think the hospitals are writing off charges for all the uninsured victims of this shooting.

the uninsured (which includes the dude in the medically induced coma) are having their bills written off
warner brothers donated an undisclosed amount of money to the victims
there are several funds set up already

I would be surprised if money did actually turn into an issue with this...be more sad for the people that died and the people that will be left with lifelong disabilities, scars and emotional trauma

Executing, as presently done, is not cheaper at all, after all the obligatory appeals for any death sentence, and the years on death row.

He'd die much more quickly in the general pop. Like Jeffrey Dahmer.
