What Are Some of the Excuses You Have Used to Blow Off Your Workouts?

I really try to not to miss but everyonce in a while I am so stressed or hammered from work I like just like to gel when I get home. The other is when it is raining I hate going the gym in the rain or when it is super cold (wind chill wise).

I mean I hate missing but sometimes you do so I was just seeing what excuses ya'll use.
 
Well of course being sick is one. But most of my excuses in the past was that my g/f JUST HAD TO HAVE my attention that day. So I missed a workout. And in the long run i resented her for that. Cause thats pulling me from the ONE hour a day of my total enjoyment to myself. But my g/f now comes to the gym with me and works out. ITS GREAT! She totally understands that I need that 1 hour and she can have me the rest of the day. And i love her for that. I see her slowly getting obsessed with fitness like i am. In time she will be as bad as me... OH YES! :D
 
actually i really dont have excuses anymore, back when i first started consistently lifting like 3 years ago i didnt like it cuz i did it at home and it is hard to get motivation at home and would think of reasons not to do it, but now i enjoy going to lift at the gym and it is just like a daily habit.
 
I hate to say this, but on the few days a year that I don't go, my excuse is, "I don't feel like it." I go often enough to know that if I miss a day, I'll be in tomorrow. The gym will always be there whether I show up or not, which is a constant source of amazement to me. :)
 
I love training at the gym.....

I love going to gym to train but Because Im not working I cant always afford to drive there. ANyway Ive got a few dumbells and a flex ball which I use as a bench too (its great - yeah) but I would love to be able to go to the Gym everyday ! :)
 
"Just not into it today."

To me if the workout isn't gonna be productive fuck it.
No point going through the movements. Sometimes I get there and I realize Its just gonna be one of those days sometimes I can comeback later in the day.

If you train a muscle like a pussy it sucks because you can't really train it again untill it time, if you just say fuck it and come back the next day at least then you've given youself probably some much needed rest and then you can hammer the muscle the right way.
 
Why go to the gym when i could grab a 30 of High Life and start pregaming at the Ledge? Nothins better then gettin outta school at 2 and having brew in hand by 215, cept maybe giving a sweaty cutie the dirty sanchez.
 
Going to the gym in a snowstorm is cool, I figure noone else is crazy enough to go. Rain is the only weather factor.
Otherwise it's "Well I didn't get to bed till 2, no way am I getting up at 6"
