What an F'd UP WEEK FOR ME!!

So..

Last weekend, I decided to inject on my 15th week, 1 cc of 200mg enth. primo and 1/2 cc of prop 100 test. I have done this many times -no problem. I always hit the delts, cuz it's my sweet zone.

I usually alternate left to right, with left being my favorite side. So, I decided to inject a little higher on the delt in a thick area. I can see veins so I avoid that, obviously. I proceed to stick the needle in - no pain. I asperate. No blood.

I start to push nice and slow, just like always. I get about 1 cc into it, and it starts to hurt like if someone is punching me - the dead arm feeling. I continue to press in the rest of the fluid and pull out. I get a small amount of bleeding for a while, but I hold down on it so it doesn't bruise etc.

Okay.. everything felt fine after that.

The next day my shoulder was throbbing, and mind you, I don't get pain. So it contintues to get worse over the day - I take plenty of tylenol and ibuprofen. Over the next few days, my shoulder is in so much pain I couldn't work out by weds. I developed a heat rash all over my forearms and biceps and even some on my inner thighs. I usually only get that when I've been taking high amounts of tylenol and running a feaver. I was taking some antibiotics - amoxicillan - for a sinus infection. I knew my shoulder wasn't infected, I have gotten like this before with high concentration test 400.

So, what do you think caused the pain? When I started feeling the pain, yes I should have pulled out (that's what he said! lol), but it seriously felt like I was squeezing the gear inbetween tendons and ligaments or something..It wasn't much higher than I usually inject (bottom delt towards the middle back area). This was more dead center and a tad higher than towards the bottom of the delt.

I'm finally starting to sleep better now that the pain is dissipating from my left shoulder. I know this is one of those - well you just gotta work through it and deal with it, but i've been so dam miserable all week because of it..even got a tad test-fluish - which I never get anymore..

dam...i think i'm turning into one big puss! :rainbow: lol

It's a strange thing. Cuz I can hit a delt and have little to no pain, then hit the same delt a week later and I cannot lift my arm the next day. My right delt is swollen right now, thank God there is no pain. Just a funny looking little knot. This happens also with my quads and glutes. I try to always do the exact same routine when it comes to inj. Clean area well, draw up the goodies, switch barrels, heat with blow dryer, stick, pull back, then send it home with very little constant pressure. Extract barrel ever so slowly, immediately hold direct pressure with a prep for a few minutes while rubbing it in. Apply a small bandaid and hope for the best. I take 3 IBuprofen X3 times daily when I run into problems. I'd say with no fever present and no obvious signs of infections, I would give it 3-5 days before I'd start freaking out. Good luck!

It's been 6 days! lol. I know it's not an infection, it's getting better. I couldn't lift my arms over my head either (my left arm that is). Eh, it was just a painful inject but dam, I missed out on almost 4 days of not working out! uggggghhh...

I would say the injection was a little closer to a nerve and put pressure on it until the shot was absorbed by your body.
