What about p90x vs old school lifting

Bros, for somebody looking to loose body fat specifically, what's more effective intense cardio like p90x or heavy weight lifting, i want to hear different opinions and choose between purchagin p90x or pay a subscription at the gym,thanks.
 
Both are important. Hard weight training is what builds and sculpts the physique. It builds muscle. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolic rate and the easier fat loss becomes.

At the same time, hard cardio like p90x burns calories and helps burn body fat.

Ideally you would do both. Lift weights 4-5 days per week and perform cardio another 4-5 days per week. You don't necessarily need to do p90x for the cardio, you could just use a traditional piece of cardio equipment at the gym.
