Has anyone ever been out on a boat trip to watch whales?

What was it like?

After seeing National Geographic explorer on the bowheads Sunday, I want to go more than ever. Maybe not to the Artic to see the bowheads, but California to see the gray whales would be a blast.

One of my dream trips is going to Alaska and kayaking with Beluga whales.

I will save the land whales for someone else.

My brother went on a whale watching trip during his honeymoon. He said it was pretty cool but that the spray really stinks like ass. He said when he and his wife got off the boat everyone was completely soaked with whale spit and smelled completely rank. Other than that, he thought it was a great time.

when detras and hammy go drinking together, they usually take whales home with them...

Last week. probably go a half dozen times summer. The boats leave about a five minute walk from my office. Wonderful stuff.
