Western Union Issue

I just sent some $$ to a certain Eastern European country using WU and the teller asked for my drivers license # and a physical address.

Out of all the times I've used WU i've never been asked for either of those items.

Any thoughts on this or am I just being paranoid?????

I used them once to make a roid transaction and wasn't asked for a drivers license #. But who cares? It's the WU teller that is asking for this, so I wouldn't worry about it

did you use a credit card? maybe they were just checking on that...

No c.c. I used cash. Plus i went to a bank this time. Maybe it was the banks protocol. I usually go to the grocery store but the grocery store makes everyone call it in now. I'm not too worried about a $200 gear purchase as much as having homeland security knocking on my door. Both highly unlikely unless the receiver was flagged.
