Were the new mods name's picked out of a hat ?

Because although there's some good guy's in there, there's also some right pricks who have caused nothing but trouble here.
George asked on all the board for us to nominate new mods, and after reading through the contributors nominations it appear's as though 99% were ignored. The mods for the gear pix board is one great example, I can think of t least 2 or 3 new mods there who I can't ever remember making a contri to that board, and I check there everyday.
Btw this is not sore grapes here, I don't think I'd have made a great mod, but at least I'm not a hypocrite here.

Actually I don't have an opinion on you anyway, I can't remember anything you've ever posted here to make me think you could'nt do the job. But if you want to turn bully now go ahead, it appear's there's nothing stopping you. However I suppose even moderators behaviour here is somewhat governed, or at least I hope so.
