I'm running down the stairs to open the door for my friend who is supposed to come by and BAM, two Narcotic agents greet me instead. I was pretty fuckin suprised to say the least. They ask me if I live here and I say yes. They ask if they can come inside to talk to me and I say no, but step outside to speak with them, shutting the door behind me.
They say they got a complaint that someone was selling "pills" from this apartment and ask me if I have any or involved with anything illegal, which of course, I'm not. I knew one cop from the gym but his partner was trying to bulldog me. They asked if they could look around and if I didnt have anything, the case would be closed, but if not, it would remain open and turned over to narcotics investigators. They tried to convince me that that was the easiest way to handle it, but I flat out told them I'm not going to consent to a search. I did allow them to pat me down for their safety.
They said the tip could be from anyone, ex-girlfriend, someone I had beef with, anyone. Then I asked him if he meant ecstacy and he said it was simply pills, xtc, valium, dbol, just pills.
They told me they were going to have to turn over the case to narc and I told them that was fine because I had nothing to hide. Then I thanked them for following up on investigations like this and they left.
I called my attorney the second the door shut and am waiting for him to return my call. I also called the police dept and spoke with the officer who told me the complaint was made August 27th. He said I had no charges but they investigate everything just to be safe. I thanked him for returning my call as well as protecting the community. He was straight up with me and gave me his number if I had any more questions.
August 27th? There is no worse fury than a psycho ex-girlfriend scorned.
