Day care is dicey.

For what age your son is that's not right. First I my daughter went to day care when she was about 6 months and the room had a crib for every child I think. Large play area with many soft toys and a TV with Elmo etc on. Think the ratio was 3 to 1 kids to care takers. In fact you said 5 to 1 which I think is illegal for kids that age. As far as my state. As far as bottles etc. everything was labeled and you were required to label everything for your child. One of the main reasons for that is to stop the spread of illnesses.

That women should be fired and you should find a new place to take your child or you could actually take care of your own baby. Your a single mother? Aren't you? Sorry but single mothers end up leaving their childern to the mob. They get what they get.
yeah, it was NOT right for his age. I already have him in a new daycare. It costs more, but it is worth it.

I actually wish we had one of the really nice baby-education type centers here in town, but most everyone in this town are factory workers at Toyota, so I'm not sure there would be enough people here that would pay the extra money to put their kids in expensive daycares.

I wish I could stay home and watch him, but I have to work to support us. I love my job, though.

You shouldn't have to be made to feel guilty for being a working mother. The problem is that there is not enough GOOD state run daycare for EVERYONE.

Yea, I also realize what an oxymoron that is "GOOD state run". <--- Sorta funny but totally sad.

state run would be ideal but hell, they cant even provide enough money for education through levels k - 12 and special education. theres no way daycare could get the money it would need too. sucks. my wife actually told me there were hearings for the states (shes in education) where the states tried to dictate what they were required to offer as far as education. most tried to get k - 8, high school was up to the parents to pay. you fucking believe that? they were overturned by the courts. her school law teacher explained it, i cant provide all the information because i half listen when she goes off on those rants.

Don't I know it... one of the reasons why I tried to leave the US and a big reason why my sister actually DID - superior FREE education.

It's really sad that as powerful and mighty a nation the US once was they never saw the importance of taking care of our children. :whatever:

Sad, sad, sad....

You will see all sorts of protests for fucking animal rights but you won't see ANYONE picketting shouting for the rights of every family to have their children in safe and productive daycare while their parents bust their asses to take care of them.

I get ill when I hear about fucking animal rights.

When we have taken care of our children and our elderly then I *might* be moved to shed a tear for the adorable ducks that are force fed so that I can enjoy pate.

We can agree to disagree then.

Somehow I don't think one less duck or cow or alligator or furry baby seal will make a damned bit of difference to me, that is, not unless I thoroughly enjoyed them on my plate or on my feet, or on my back.

EVERY CHILD is innocent and will someday grow to become an adult that will affect society... and WE, as elderly, will be at THEIR MERCY.

I'm pretty sure babies and children are just as innocent as animals. I love animals, but it doesn't even come remotely close to how I feel about children.

im not disagreeing. im saying, the mindset for the example you used, animals. look at mike vick. people wanted to hang that guy for the dog fighting. yet murders and abuse happen daily and theres little to no reaction. its a weird mentality. not sure how we got there.
