Weird training tonight, check it out. Ideas?

Been having really weak shoulder workouts. Friday is usually light bench day, then shoulders and tris. Well tonight I switched up and went with a med. heavy bench, then did 3x6 sets of close grip bench with 245lbs. Then proceded to shoulders which I normally do first. My shoulder strength was the best it's been in a long, long time. What the hell??
 
overtraining can cause strength loss. hard to say if it's your case, but it could be. are you sleeping well and recouping?
