Weightlifting and Basketball

Well since basketball is starting i realized theres gonna be days when i gotta workout and go to practice our practices are usually around 2 hours long with alot of running so it tires me out
id still like to lift on these days but dont kno whether to jus go easy, leave the leg workout out or jus eat alot suck it up and do my full workout

Any advice? ty
 
im gunna be facing this when wrestling season starts, and if you dont start directly after school try going in and doin gsomething like your squats before practice, or your deadlifts, and then you can do your pressing shit after practice if you want. or even do that before practice if you have time....

when its time for me, im thinking im gunna keep it super simple, like 2 exersises a day tops, pretty much try my best to maintain rather than gain a fuckload....

also be sure to eat after your workout (or before, depending on what u do first) dont go from one activity and then to the other without eating, cause thats too long to not eat (imo).

or if your willing to you can wake up an hour early and go to the gym before school (im assuming your doing school- as opposed to college/pro- bbal otherwise ud have trainers)


-but yeah, im gunna personally be keeping it real simple, focus on compounds, no extra bs to burn cals, just try and preserve my strength and size as best i can while doing insain amounts of cardio.....also that brings up the eating again, u gotta adjust your diet to be eating a fuckload more than you do to compensate for that extra cardio
 
tho i do luv eating over the past week it feels like i havta eat even when im not hungry...and bein i gained a pound over a weeks time (which i was told is good for bulkin) i take it im gonna havta eat more bein ill be doin up to 10-12 hours of extra cardio a week...moms gonna be pissed buyin all this food


basically my diet is oatmeal,eggs,PB,chicken and other lean meats,water,cereal in mornings of school,and a lil bit of low fat dairy
ahh gonna be an interesting season


i think when the season fully starts im goin to do different body parts a day...jus seems easier that way so i can give a good amount of effort into every workout bein practices will be after school tyvm sublime
