weight gain

OK, just got back from my doctor's office. I was hoping that I lost weight since I don't have scale and I kinda told everyone I was losing weight. Well I was wrong. I actually weigh more than when I started my work out routine. How could this happen? My diet is good ( i thought) and I do keep up lifting and cardio in many ways since they close fitness room. I even look thinner. I cannot explain weight gain. Is it possible that the gain is actually muscle? Or am I just dreaming all this? Help!

Do you feel better?
Do you look better?
Do your clothes fit better?

If so then you are doing fine. Weight is just a number and a very bad one for telling health (except in extreme cases).

Very Very true. Also try and get you bf % measured. The continue to workout and if that goes down thats really all that matters. Also, cut down your meals, use portion control.
