Week off

Hi All:

have been lifting for 8 months without a break. Doing a 3 day a week free weight 6 rep max cycle. usually 3 sets 6-8 reps per movement. squat, dl, flat bench, dips standing ovehead barbell press, pull ups.(not in that order)

left soulder was starting to hurt. Weird thing is i tore it while i was sleeping. figure that. i went to roll over, it was under a pillow and i felt it rip.....amazing....anyway..i put off resting. It was hurting for a few months..but i would not let it heal.



yesterday while in the office my thumb got ripped open in a file cabinet..Yes laugh if u must.....not painfull, but it went all the way to the bone. went to the emergency room......they stitched it up...Im so paranoid about hving to take a week off.

I know its ness but im freaking out........in addition i blew off my diet and hv been eating watever i want...not good!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thoughts all.???
 
Take that week to start getting your diet back into shape? Build it up from day one each day gettign better.
Thats what I would do...
 
You need to heal especially your shoulder. Im a mechaic so I get cut all the time thats no big deal but if you tear a muscle you should let it heal. It shouldnt be too hard to get back to your diet I know if I throw the diet out the window I start to get hungry and I dont like that feeling.

Just jump back into it....:)
