Every 3 or 4 months of seroius training I take 1 week off to let my muscles rest and recuperate. When I do this I usually lose about 2 or 3 pounds but no strength. If anything sometimes strength goes up a littlr bit. I gain the 2 or 3 pounds back in the next 2 weeks so that doesnt matter either. I have never done this during a cycle because I figured that would be stupid.
Right now Im in week 8 of a 12 week cycle and I can tell I really need that week off. I was curious to hear some good opinions on if it would be better to take the week of during the cycle or after. I kind of think right after might make it ard to keep all of the gains that I got. Although I do not want to take off a week during a cycle, I think in the end it might be a good choice. Let me know what you guys think
