Weed and Muscle Growth

hey guys, this might seem like a ridiculous question when analyzing marijuana and its effects on muscle growth, but no studies have been done yet that successfully prove that weed is detrimental to growth. Don't get me wrong here, i'm sure as hell not a pothead or even regular smoker but i'd like some unbiased info on what the facts are and personal experiences. Some say it's useful for relieving stress and cortisol and some say it helps them train more intensely. Some use it before workout to create an analgesic environment like Nubain, Although, one must consider that some experts think weed lowers serum testosterone but increases appetetite therefore consuming more calories towards growth. Let's hear it , what do you guys think?Weed and Muscle Growth?
 
well -I love some drugs ---and have studyed the effects of all I have been juice'in for 4 years now and I seems pot has a negative effect-I tends to make you lazy and I have read articles about certain chemiclas are released which might hurt your muscle growth--anyway I don't really matter as long as you keep it to once in a while---Iiii've used about everything(street drug) with little impact on my size and growth both while cycleing and not--
 
No shit, with all the money I spend on gear, I'm lucky if I can afford rent and food!

I would think pot would help you grow bigger... only because you have the munchies all the time and would eat more...

pot has been on the brink of legalness for a long time and is cool once in a while, but start doing it alot and b4 you know it, you are just dumb after smoking and not high.

weed doesn't effect test levels at all.

Do a search for my cannabis posts or look up recent research (easily found on the net) such as those performed by Block et al.

I think over-use of cannabis can make you paranoid, unmotivated, unconfident and anxious. I think once or twice weekly use can help with anxiety (paradoxically) as well as make you laugh, eat more and make music more enjoyable etc.

The issue is one of use or abuse. Do you use the drug or does it use you?
 
Im pretty sure that weed can cause gyno......I read somehwere that the THC is stored in your fat cells...and can cause gyno..excess fat etc. Ive done numerous reports on the use of marijuana. I also believe that it can hinder your progress just by making you unmotivated.....and tired. I tried going to the gym high once...lets just say i was out of there within 15 minutes...it sucked.

I too have heard that weed can cause gyno, but I'm not too sure that I believe that. But, weed does speed up your metabolism (thus the munchies) which makes it a good thing to do if you are one of those skinny guys who just can't eat enough while on dbol.

Im not sure If i believe that either......I have been smoking almost everyday for the past few years.....I can say when I am not getting to the gym as often as I want, my nipps get a little soft and seems like extra tissue...I wouldn't go as far as saying its gyno....but I do think that the pot causes some kind of extra fatty deposits in the areas where you would have the most soft fatty tissue..(A2's)....glutes..love handles...chest/lat area...etc.
