Weed and Muscle Growth

Im not sure If i believe that either......I have been smoking almost everyday for the past few years.....I can say when I am not getting to the gym as often as I want, my nipps get a little soft and seems like extra tissue
Its really not a matter of what people believe. Marryjane has been proven to increase etsrogen levels period! I can show you countless abstracts and pages of info supporting the claims. Just because it increases estrogen does not mean one will get gyno, however it sure can help as well as increasing the chances of estrogen related fatty deposits etc.

So much I see on boards these days is touted as truth yet no one seems to do any research or reading boyond the board itself.
 
Some facts about marijuana
decreased testosterone production/ increased levels of estrogen, increased fat deposits due to estrogen levels and increased food intake(usually high fat food) also can make a person less motivated.

I have done my reading ......I have countless studies on it....I was just saying I wouldn't go as far as saying it caused gyno to where an operation would be necessary...i guess it depends on how much you smoke.and how prone to gyno you are...How severe was the gyno in the studies you've read. I dont recall in any that ive read how severe they are...I mean Im pretty sure you know mre then me...b/c it seems u usually do...lol...but i am interested in this....I personally believe smoked marijuna can be beneficial in many ways...it is so understudied its unbelievable.....Ive actually read your brain has receptor sites for cannabanoids...which is what smoked marijuana produces..(over 400 of them)...we have not even begun to understand this drug...

anyway..getting of my tangent...i was just simply saying I dont see the gyno as being to severe with the use of marijuana....If I am wrong so be it...lol

As I mentioned I dont see MJ as being a high gyno risk either, however IT does cause a lot of additional estrogen, which in turn lowers test production. So, I personally dont think MJ has any practicle use in BBing or powerlifting. But thats just my opinion and I have seen nothing to contradict it.

Pm Havoc on this board. Fool tokes and syas it increases focus and appetite. Fucker weigh about 240 and is all natural. He has posted pics as well.

Remember, a little estrogen at the receptor is good for growth.

i agree....if you want to be at the top of your game..and in the BEST shape u could be...lay off the pot....

I smoked for years, since i was 14. I quit about 6 months ago because once i got to a certain level of size and development, i found my lungs were incapable of meeting my oxygen demands during intense workouts. It felt like i had asthma. Since i quit my workouts have been much better, but i think in moderation weed is cool. Enjoy!!
 
in moderation..weed is definately cool....lol....I think after smoking it for a long time it has different effects..

Mike.....have you noticed since youve been smoking for a long time that..it gets you depressed to some extent?....Or the "high" isnt really that cool?

I think marijuana can cause social anxiety disorder personally..

one time i got real high..(nothing new)...came in my house and had an anxiety attack..or what felt like one anyway...I dunno what it was from but i am leaning towards the weed,,,,,i was afraid to smoke...but did the next day anyway...lol...no attacks since....but it was still very wierd....I also dont like to smoke with people whom ive never smoked b4 unless my boys are around......i feel weird around new people when im high...especially hot chics.....i wont even go there..lol

Yeah, i think its the reason i get anxiety attacks from time to time now, and it changes you i think, you become more withdrawn. Im sure it alters you brain chemistry somehow, but like i said i smoked pretty heavy for 7 years, so maybe that had somehting to do with it.
