If you glean pleasure from helping others, expecting nothing in return except for the satisfaction of knowing that you made a difference, affected someone's life in any way: great or small, then that is a wonderful feeling... isn't it?

That can NEVER be a bad thing.

And the fact that you are helping to teach this feeling to youth, well then that is a good thing times a thousand.

Yea I just quoted myself LOL... but I wanted to add what I was thinking but didn't post in this post.

There are MANY PEOPLE who are not religious or part of any organized religion WHO DO THE SAME THING.

I am not knocking anyone for their religious beliefs but merely pointing out to those who are religious or who do belong to some sort of organized religion that you don't NEED religion to do these things.

A good person who tries to do good is a good person who tries to do good. .... and the world can never have too many of those people.
