We have mice.

One of my friends saw a mouse in her house the other day...he has a major germ phobia so he fillped out and shot it with a .22 rifle.

I'm not advocating gun use, but that was one fucking dead mouse.

Thank you guys for your suggestions, I think I figured out where they're coming in. I have no qualms about inflicting suffering on unwanted pests in the house, especially if they've shat in my $250 Holly Would boots or chewed a hole in my bread flour.

We'll be going the mousetrap route, since our dogs are dumb enough to eat poison. If I see any of those little shits in the meantime, I'm going after them with a hammer.

(I was kidding about the DNP, BTW. Definitely too expensive and toxic to waste on rodents.)

Hi Ceebie! Can we see a pic of the boots please?

Glue traps never failed me.

However, they were not nearly as entertaining as my brother's old Savannah Monitor, which he eventually sold.

Nor were they as stealthy as my favorite Bufo marinus, who'd dispatch them silently as I slept.
