We have fuel alternatives....

We have the technology to stop using petroleum fuels
It's more of a matter of how much of the current gasoline and diesel fuel infrastructure you want to demolish

Yes because the only reason this is an issue is the profits of certain companies.

That guy was debunked months ago because the energy he had to put in to extract the hydrogen from the water was more than he was able to get out of the hydrogen. Search for Blut Wump's and my posts on the subject.

I fail to see how you've "debunk" the use of water as an alternative, especially if water powered cars are being tested currently

I will post more information about the use of water as an alternative and how it's seems to be getting expanded use

Ask this guy to put one of these devices on your car, and notice your mileage decrease.

Electrolysis of H20:

2H2O → 2H2(g) + O2(g)

"The standard reaction for the electrolysis of water is:
2H2O → 2H2(g) + O2(g)

For this process you need 4 moles of electrons because it requires 2 moles per mole of H2 , therefore the standard free energy change is:

ΔG = -nFε
ΔG = -4*96487*1.229
ΔG = -474330 J

4 H-O bonds must be broken, at ≈460 kJ each, but energy is released when the new bonds form. The O=O bond yields ≈498 kJ and the H-H bonds yield ≈433 kJ each. Our net free energy is:
-4(460000) + 2(433000) + 498000 = -476000 J"

Thus, you put in more energy than you take out.

In the Winter time, I like to throw used tires around Somali's and create a bon-fire. The heat will last for 45 minutes on a typical 130 lb Somali

Oxyhydrogen is often mentioned in conjunction with devices that claim to increase automotive engine efficiency or to operate a car using water as a fuel.

Many of these claims, prima facie, violate the Laws of thermodynamics. See Conservation of energy and Electrolysis of water:Efficiency. See also hydrogen fuel enhancement.

You're such a tool. :lmao:

I saw that on cnn. Is it called bowtying?

I've seen people who've posted up their results on the net from these kits. ONe guy had his ram go from like 10 mpg to 16 or 17. Because their rudimentary electrolysis devices you can't run the car completely on the HHO gas. It's only meant as a supplement "in that form". What Meyer "claimed" to have done though was get electrolysis to occur at some ridiculously low amp'age. One guy who knew him at the time suspected he was messing around with the pulse frequency. Supposedly his dune buggy ran completely on gas........but we'll not know because it was stolen from his home a couple weeks after his death. He may very well have discovered some obscure characterisitic of the universe that somehow subverts the current classical physics laws of the conservation of energy............who knows. :whatever:

I just wish someone would write SOMETHING clear if this works in the manner Redguru describes or if there's something else

Dude. You're right if you are talking about houses. There are plenty of alternative sources for energy for homes. Solar, wind, nuclear. Alot of areas still burn coal or petrolium to generate energy for cities. Cities produce more pollutants than cars by far.

Its hard to use electricity or water and stuff like that to power a car. Solar power works great if your car is a one seater made out of plastic and styrofoam and there are no clouds.

Everyone talks about 'alternatives'

but no one is producing or installing them.

It's like that mythical cure for cancer. All the marathons in the wolrd ain't gonna produce one.

That second law of thermodynamics is a bitch, eh?

It's a law of classical physics and holds true for almost all "observable" phenomena. However, some of those classical laws get iffy at the subatomic level. Not that anything solid has been proven, but the boys at CERN think they may be able to get around some of these previously untouchable laws when you get to the fabric of the universe, like they're trying to. Who knows, :whatever:, maybe meyer found the right vibrational frequency that somehow coaxed the hydrogen from the oxygen at much lower energy levels. Or maybe he was full of shit.......:whatever:. Somehow he was able to lower the energy required for electrolysis.........he showed an apparatus getting it to occur from 1/2 an amp.
