Nah, big wildfires are part of our normal life around here. Happens to us every year. It's actually quite funny watching all the drama queens blowing up social media. Carlsbad ordered our evacuation hours ago and we're still here slowly packing up.

There are more fires now though. I think there's over a dozen separate fires in the area now.

Damn arsons are setting fires all over now. Happens every year. Whenever a big brush fire starts, the news blows up and the arsons go crazy.

lol its just ground beef and refried beans with old elpaso elchilada sauce and cheese sprinkled on top. The key is to broil on low at the end to make the cheese a little crispy. You can adjust the amount of beef/beans to your liking.

So is there a point where we stop spending public money saving homes that are knowingly built in a high-risk area?

Is there a compromise where if you do build there, but don't clear 100 ft around your house and buy a flame-retardant roof that you're on your own?

The whole state is a high-risk area. Carlsbad is a small beach front city far from any wooded areas, and we still burned 600 acres and lost 32 buildings.
