Way To Go People Of Isreal

for the palestinians- they will be dying in theri thousands as they have done for many years

for the israelis as they will no doubt be on the recieving end of terrorism from other countries for many years after if/when they win

for the muslim world as this will only re-inforce the extremist view that the west funds those who wish to destroy islam


they COULD try a peace process. how to do this

-ask for international mediators

-stop bombing the tools yasar arafat had to round up these extremists yet demand he find them

-let him leave his compound without a hell fire missle up his ass

-allow talks arranged already in private by the many moderates in israel led by shimon perez to take place with palestinian officials (with minimal input from sharon)

-if the talks fail after a set time agreed by both sides then allow the action to take place

The people want war so there will be war. I have taken the attitude that there will never be peace on this earth. No matter the time or place there will always be some type of war going on. It is just human nature. Personally, I want to see a war. I am sick of this shit and something needs to be done. I really don't see how Israel will ever be able to make peace with the Palestinians! These are people who strap bombs to themselves and go kill teenagers eating at a pizza place. These people are rabid animals, and should be dealt with as such. Before 9/11 I actually sypathized with the Palestinians. Now that I have had a taste of what Israel puts up with on a daily basis, I could care less what Israel does to them.

danielson...what you propose has been, more or less, been tried. Israel was prepared to give up so much in return for peace but Arafat turned them down. It was huge embarrassment for Clinton if you'll remember. He had convinced the doves of Israel, who were in power at the time, to give away virtually everything. The reason the Palestinians didn't take it is they don't want peace with Israel. PEOPLE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS POINT. The Palestinians only true desire is to have their own state where Israel exists today. THEIR GOAL, THEIR STATED GOAL, IS FOR ISRAEL TO NO LONGER EXIST. Understand this and you'll understand the conflict.

People have known this for a long time yet they still tried for peace...again and again. Each time it has blown up in their faces. The time for talk is, hopefully, finally over.

arafat was a little bit silly in that he thought he could get more out of a peacedeal with a moderate like barak. he didnt seem to remeber the see-saw ride that is israeli poltics of late with a move from extremist to moderate parties.

he now has a possible war criminal bombing him all the time. he need this deal. if it doesnt work this time, then this will have been the pali;s last chance

of course im sceptical of the success i think war hungry groups on wither side will destroy it with an assasination etc. if there is a war, hopefully it will be descisive in its outcome

After all these years, nothing has changed, even after all of Israel's attempts to find a peaceful solution. As they tried, Israeli's kept dying and dying. There is no real bargaining with these people.

I give up. Some people are so naive to think that everyone looks at the world in the same way, that everyone just wants peace with their neighbors. If you think more peace talks will result in any lasting peace, then you've got your head so far up in the peacenik clouds that you're out of my reach.

Ummm.. you know the old line, "been there done that"? Well they've been there & done that already.... years of being there & doing that.

granted it isnt likely to result in peace but look at the alternatives....given that their are elements within his own government that want to give it one LAST shot, i would have thought it worth a try. its painfully clear to everyone that if the process fails there is no hope whatsoever. whats gonna happen with all those displaced people if a war starts.

when anything resembling palestine is wiped off the map who will the extremists target? pretty much anyone who supported the agressors.

anyway this was pretty much a pipedream of mine. i know there will never be a peace process that is succsesful, no matter how much i want one or others. it just pisses me off that hardliners have so much power its been building up in that reigon anyway.
