Way to disable Platinum Chat?

Due to the generousity of flexed1 sponsoring me, I'm Platinum. I love everything about being a Platinum member - except for that damned Platinum Chat. There have been several occasions when I haven't logged into EF all day, much less been at my computer with a browser window open, and people have been able to send me private chat messages. Then they get huffy because they think I'm ignoring them, when in fact I didn't even know they messaged me.

So short of logging completely out of EF every session (which I'm not even sure would do any good, just throwing that idea out there), is there a way to disable Platinum Chat?

Every time plat chat launces and I try to close it, it locks my entire pc and I have to reboot. It completely sucks and it's been like that since day 1.

My plat. chat doesn't seem to ever work.....since I became plat.

Click Get it now...it'll update your Java, and should make Plat Chat work.
