water retention...

I have read a few posts now from guys who couldn't tell if they had gyno or just some bloat. Thought it might be a good idea to ask when during a cycle do you all tend to start noticing water retention typically and what AS are you using when this happens? Especially when using d-bol (often it is the culprit in most posts), how soon after day1 does bloating begin?
 
I could fill several swimming pools right now. I'm a baloon. Sust/dbol. I am very prone to edema so it's common for me. My face never "puffs" up, but the rest of me does. Even anti estos don't combat it that much(have yet to use anastrozle though). After about one week on I am filled up like a water resiviore.
 
So it takes about a week for you? The thing I don't like is that if I'm only holding a bit of water then it makes it tough for me to tell if it is in fact water, or if it's fat from upping my calories so much. Bugs me. I'm up about 2 lbs. on test/d-bol and my waist has increased a bit - I'm on day 5 so I must be retaining a little water - everyone's different but I don't think many can store more than a pound of bodyfat per week.
 
Nathan, When I first started out in this game I always mistook water retention for fat. My first cycle I thought "how the hell can I gain that much fat in one week". Following the cycle after about two weeks all the water was gone and I relized it wasn't fat...It was water. Cycle two...I blew up again. This time more so because I used Dbol. It was at this point I learned my propensity for hording water under my skin. It does'nt look good nor does it feel good, but I've come to accept it as a necessary evil of bulking for me. Looks like fat, feels like fat...But it all gets pissed out when you need to loose it.
 
Thanks dude. I guess I'll have a better feel for whether or not it is in fact water or just fat in the next few days when I can see if I gain any more weight this week. I'm really hoping it is just a little water, though I don't think one can even gain 2lbs. of fat in a week.
