Was British Dragon Busted? Dont Delete It's Not A Source Post

I heard that Britids Dragon was busted is this true?
Anyone?
Their web site is down and no British Dragon products will be produced after December 2006


British Dragon has always been a procurement company. However, with an aim toward producing licensed products, we formed a partnership in Eastern Europe to manufacture. Before this was finalised, sub-standard products were being produced which were not to the standard nor tradition of British Dragon.

Thus, no genuine British Dragon products (as under the control of the founders) will be produced after December, 2006.

All our regular distributors as listed on the Suppliers list will have sufficient stock until well into the new year (2007).

I don't know the answer but one of the misconceptions I see posted here is that people think that what they do is legal in Thailand. It's not. They are British citizens on 6 month visas that they have to keep renewing. There are many laws that they are breaking. So yes, they can be arrested.

Ecto, about your first post, the people who put up the web page you're quoting may or may not still own a share of the company and/or the name; there's some ongoing argument about that. The name has some value, the manufacturing plant does too. How they are connected to each other is not a settled question. Until we know more, anything that appears on that web page should be taken with a grain of salt.

As for your second post, we have more than one reason we delete stuff. We'll do it when it's a source post, yes, but we also take a dim view of scare-mongering bullshit.

Sometimes we'll leave BS up when it's really obvious, so the rest of the board can point at it and giggle, but don't ever expect us to leave it up just because you demanded it.
