Ball Python? I like snakes, in theory, but I'm pretty much a dog or cat person when it comes to having pets of my own.

Ball python??

I think so. But, it's at least 6 feet long and it's 2 years old, so I don't know. My daughter said it would get 20 feet long, but if it's a ball python, only 6 feet I read. I can't stand the thing. I stay clear when she gets it out.

It's markings are that of a ball python. They only get 4 or 5 feet, rarely 6. Burmese or African Rock pythons are the only common ones that get large (20 feet) and have a similar style of marking. From the picture, it doesn't have the coloring specific to those species though... I'd bet it's a Ball python. I'd have to see a better picture to be sure though.

I've had a couple of Ball pythons before, as well as a Burmese and a Blood python. Right now I just have a Columbian Red-Tail boa.

Thats cool....Honestly, I do like snakes!!! They are cool

That's a ball python, and it probably won't get more than 5 feet. They are really pretty docile and calm snakes. No worries there.

That is definately a ball python. It won't get much longer than it is now, but it will get fatter. Those are probably the most docile snake there is. They don't bite. Ever... unless, of course, you smell like a gerbil, their favorite food in the wild.

My daughter says he has bitten her several times. But she it's because when she takes him out he thinks it's feeding time.

That's weird... I've never even had one strike at me, and I've owned 2 of them. Is she feeding it enough?? Snakes tend to get more aggressive when they are underfed, even "tame" ones...

Every 2 weeks a rat.

I hate snakes.
My buddy has a 15' one. I heard on the Discovery Channel that a 17.5' can eat a average sized adult male.
Its cage is under my buddies bed.
He was nailing this girl that was about 4'11" tall and the bed broke. They fell in the cage... LOL.
