"The Secret Service protecting George W. Bush has been alrerted about an email today sent to multiple sources that may indicate the terrorists and Osama Bin Laden may be targeting Geprge W. Bush in Houston. I guess we should have seen this coming, Osama's main beef is holy land being soiled by the western troops installed by George Herbert Walker Bush and according to the missive, this action will be 'the start the end'-whatever that means. "

I fly 2x per week minimum. I've been hit with this type of search 4 times since 11/11/01, 3 in the last 12 days. I've never had to actually take my socks off but I have had the shirt raised, been patted down, luggage inspected, etc. Purely random and "luck-o-the-draw" IMO (although I'm sure some "profiling" is going on). When they hit me up for an "ass-inspection" I'll fight back or cancel - heh heh.

Man i encountered this last week when leaving the Miami International going back to New Hersey. My and my girlfriend must ahve looked pretty thereatening because we got picked for a serch along with ALL our baggage. So i was like fine do what you have to, but i noticed that they started going to a table right by the main entrance to the airport. When we got there i foreaked out because we had a bunch of private things in there the me and my girlfriend use for fun
if you get my drift. Well i told them that i have private things in there and it would be rather embarrasing to have it dumped in front of all the people coming in. So would they mind doing the search in a private room of behind a partition. Well the utterly refused, called a manager who found my request ridiculous and called the cops because i was being resistant and not co-operating. The cops, security and Continental employees came, and the whole thing developed to a huge fiasco with my backgroud being ren, thereatened arrest to me and my girlfriend. And when my girfriend asked if she looked like a terorist they ALMOST arrested her stating that she better not use that "WORD" again. But then the so called Manager took our tickets and cancelled them saying I can't be trusted on a plane. This was after i told him to just forget it and search the baggage. So effectively we were stranded there and had to buy other tickets.
