So, you just do your first movement with light weights

for how long do you warm up before adding "real" weights ?
 
IMO you should warm up for 5 mins on the cardio machine of your choice, just to get the joints loosened up and the heart rate going. When lifting weights I normally do one warm up set at 50% of my 1RM. I'm not sure if that's the correct way of doing it, but it works for me.
