How important are?

So you guys do warm up sets before any sets or only at the beginning?
SUpposing you do 3 different exercise for chest and 3different for triceps , would yo udo warmp sets before each different exercise? In this case wuold be 6-12 warm ups sets(one or two per erxercise)

I do 3-4 warm up sets with increasingly heavy weight before I hit my first heavy set, this keeps me injury free and I'm also much stronger when I warm up.
I dont' warm up for other exercises after the first heavy one, but if I'm going from say bench to heavy flyes, I'll stretch first as that exercise does put you at risk for a tear.

WOuldn' you warm up before a different muscle group?
After chest, you do triceps without another warm up set?

I don't see any need to warm up tris after you have slammed your chest. Tris are usually hit as a secondary muscle during a chest workout. Others may disagree, but I think it would be fine for you to just go right into your tricep exercises.

I will usually do one light warmup set before switching to a secondary muscle, ie, chest to tri's, as presses doesn't stretch the muscle out as much as the other exercises I do, and skipping one warmup set and risking an injury as a result is definitely not worth it for me, especially as in the past I have injured just about everything there is to injure.
I know everyone does it different but I am paraniod about getting any more injuries.

I normally do two or three warm up sets on the first excercise of that particular body part, then I do one warm up befor each different excercise for that body part. I do this mainly to pratice correct form but it also puts my in zone for the work set.

I like to warmup first. But that's just me....

I always warmup, it helps get the blood into the muscles I'm working and also helps me coordinate my form. Plus warming up can help tell you if you need an extra day to rest. Sometimes I have gone to do legs and when I get under 135lbs for squats I can tell that I'm not gonna be ready for a day. Why risk an injury....

i do 3 prgressive warm up sets 15, 10, 5 then 3-5 heavy sets.
for one major exersise. for the next 2 movements, 1 warm up set,
3 sets of 6-10..

I agree that tris are hit as a secondary exercise. If i hit chest, do a warm up set or two with trices anyway. My tris are ready from the chest, however, i do the warm up set mostly to get used to the movement and path of the new exercise, and not so much for the weight.
