"Wanting More..."

I am just curious to see how many of us here feel that when they set a goal for themselves, and a few months down the road you see your self reaching this goal and all of a sudden begin to critique your body all over again, you arent liking it so much still. You begin to make even harder goals for yourself to reach,,,, it becomes TRUELY an ongoing thing in your head.... as soon as you see your body going to where you once wanted it to be you set a harder goal to reach with out even really knowing it.
How many of us truely feel this way about ourselves?

I ask this because over a year ago I came here wanting to lose weight and gain muscle. It keep being a Yo -Yo for me cause my heart wasnt in it until January of this year. I started out at 140lbs, and my body fat was at 26%. A little over a month ago I had it all donw again my weight at 128lbs and my bf% is down to 16%. I thought that once I got down to 17%bf that I was going to be happy with my look, (this is what I had said a year ago) But I keep seeing myself now setting new and harder goals almost once a month, with lifting more weight and lowering my body weight even more.
Everyone aways told me that once I had this in my heart that I would be dedicated to this life.... I see now that I am! It has been over 6months and everyday i am at the gym by 6AM, and I have only taken Sundays off.

Thank you .... BMom, WarLobo, IG, Cappy, FC, Wodin, Havoc, TD, and Slickass... for giving me the info I need everyday to make these goals happen and for putting up wioth all of my Bullshit in the past!

Way to go! You can take all the supplements in the world, but you will never achieve your goals without dedication!

Post like this always brings a smile to my face. :)

Congrats to Dlady on reaching your goals and continuing to set new ones. :)

I can concur . . . I'm like this with every aspect of my life especially fitness. :)

Dedication, Drive, and the will to succeed !!! :)

Damn this gets the adrenalin flowing !!! :)

There is no "destination" it is all about the Journey. Peace and love girl...

You're so correct Dlady! I started back in October 2000 but I finally got serious and wrote down my goals in April. It makes such a big difference to have it down on paper. Whenever I get down or think it's not worth the work I read what I set out to do and I such a charge because I KNOW there is no way in hell I won't achieve these goals.

By the end of this month I have to come up with my next set and I can't wait to set up my new goals.

Great Job and Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D

i'm constantly torn between bulking and cutting. i can't make up my mind as to what i want all the time.

when i start to bulk, i get sick of myself pretty quick -- no abs, water retention and acne? gross. but when i cut up, i always start to feel small and want to put on some mass.

???

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how I look at it..... I am a perfectionist so I am never satisfied. Now that is a great thing for lifting and working out but not to great in friendships, love, kids, coaching, etc...

Complacency SUX!!!!!!!!!
