for all you lushes out there that get annoyed when you've been drinking all night and then need to get home - and you just happen to hit that telephone pole that came out of NOWHERE....
well, here's your answer.
if you are going to drink all night and then drive afterwards while still drunk, be sure to have at least a 6 pack of beer with you. or a handle of vodka or something.
once you wreck your car (this only works if it is a one car accident with a non-human object and that one car was the one you were driving), then call the cops and report your accident - try to sound sober.
then sit on your hood and pound the vodka/beer as fast as you can. make sure that by the time the cops get there, you either have an empty vodka bottle, or a bunch of empty cans.
the catch? the cops find a drunk guy sitting on a wrecked car, but he started drinking after the wreck, they can't prove that he was drunk during and thereby causing the wreck. so you don't get a dui.
it is likely that you will get a drunken in public, or open container, or some other charge - but those aren't as bad as dui.
