Is this movie about Buford Pusser? Wasn't that filmed in the early 70's?

yeah, it was.. I looked it up though, it looks like they remade the movie with "the rock." I had no idea it was a remake, thanks for the history lesson!

LOL...I just did it too. I didn't know they were remaking it either.

The first films were pretty good. They made either two or three of them based on Buford Pusser's life. Don't know about this one.

From the previews all this movie looks like is a guy that goes around town beating everybody up with a 4X4 piece of wood.
