whats the deal with vitamin b5. im thinking of trying it to clear up some of my acne but im not sure of the dosage. any experience?
 
From a respected source I've heard 2 grams(daily) for maintenance & 5 grams(daily) for a problem case.

I've been doing 2G on a sus only cycle(500mg & 6 weeks in) & have had no acne at all.

I'm 30 though.
 
Start out with 5 grams (yes that's 5 of the 1000mg pills) daily for about 2 weeks then go down to 3 grams daily for a maintainance doseage. It helped me keep the acne down to a minimum in a cycle of 500mg/wk of Sus and 400 mg/wk Deca. My skin is very oily (even with multiple showers a day using clearasil soap etc) normally off cycle so I personally think that it works pretty well. I have alot less acne on cycle than some of the other people I see in the gym who's skin isn't nearly as oily as mine. Order the B5 (Pantothenic Acid) from the Vitamin Shoppe . The Kal brand comes in 1000mg tabs so you don't have to swallow a handfull of the smaller ones a day. It also seems to work pretty well if you get a tube of Acne creme (vanishing) w/10% Benzol Peroxide and run a good amount into your back and shoulders until it disappears.Good luck.
 
Tshoot has it right on the money.....i have seen a report that stated some may need as much as 10 grams to see results, but i have had great results between 3-6 grams.....405
 
lawn, you can find it at any vitamin world, or GNC....at least the 500mgs strength like i take......about $12 a bottle......405
 
thanks guys im gonna get right on that. my acne's really pissing me off especially when i here this coming from a girl:

you know how that goes...
