I was up at Vail last weekend... Seriously hot bitches everywhere. I'll probably be back up there again this weekend.

thats what ya get going in the park during for first season newbie

what sucks is that it wasnt even that impressive of a fall. I had more extreme wipe outs when i was first learning. I guess it just takes one awkward landing though.

Now I doubt I will be able to go anymore this season. Bummer.

go just learn to tuck that arm when you fall and stay out of the park

On a side note... Vail has gotten almost 22 FEET (261") of snow this season so far... It doesn't get much better than the conditions have been this season!! :)

I see the grass here in Denver too... I think Denver got all of 15" of total precipitation for all of last year!! The mountains, that's obviously a different story. Being able to drive 1 1/2 or 2 hours to go snowboarding at some of the best resorts in the country, only to return home to 60+ degrees in the middle of winter is like nothing I have ever experienced till I moved here... I don't think I could ever live anywhere but Colorado again. :worried:

My friend in Jackson are telling me it is snowing like every day there. I've seen some photos and it just make me want to be out west again.

lol your making the hate grow dude, we got man made snow but its all icy and i dont wanna get hurt riding on it

Hell yea, looks like you had a great time. I should be there in that area in the beginning of march, any idea if they still have runs open that time of year?
They stay open until early/mid-April, so runs will be open through all of March. March and April are typically their snowiest months...

steamboat typically closes after Easter, other mountains are open later.

if you go to Arapaho basin (not right next door I know) it is usually open until the first week of june.

ASPEN > Vail > Park City > Steamboat > Mammoth > Tahoe > Big Bear

breaks down like that. I am trying to get a place in Aspen... it is far and away the best ski town in the country. Unfortunately it requires stupid amts of money to have fun. I think for just skiing though, Vail is a tie.

Whistler rules man

this is only for places quasi local to the CA area. Whistler is pretty cool though, and the chicks up there may not be as "la 10" as aspen but they are all easy. lol

I'll agree with that... The thing I like about Vail is that it is just insanely huge. Almost twice the size of anything else in Colorado.

A-basin is OK... they have some of the craziest terrain for in-bounds that I have ever seen... A-basin has a tendancy to be wind blown and somewhat icy though, but... if it's the end of the season and that's all that's still open, I'm there. Loveland is usually open just as late and IMO, a better ride. :)
