vicodens suck

How good is vicodens compared to percocets? I have taken percs in the past and loved them. I can take up to 5 vicodens and not feel a thing. It does not even take pain away. Another words who else thinks vicodens suck?

I apologize. But I am actually taking them for pain, not to buzz. I screwed my elbow up pretty bad and my friend had a bunch of them to offer. I guess i'll have to go to the doctor and get some percocets. They work miracles for pain. I thought that vicodens were almost the same thing as percocets. I could be wrong though. I took about 4 of them 7.5mg ones about 2 hours ago and still feel nothing.

Vicodin gives me a great buzz, but not much for pain relief. I respond much better to Darvocet. Never taken percocet but I hear it is real nice, buzz wise.

Well I also do not feel any kind of buzz either. Maybe I have a high tolerance to vic's. Last time I had to get surgery I was prescribed percocets. It took away the pain and gave me a great buzz. Maybe I should just stick to taking them when in pain.

I like to use ultram (tramadol hcl) to kill my pain (elbow is fucked up, too). It´s very effective, doesn´t give a buzz if taken reasonably and kills most of the pain quite well.

Vicodins are designed to NOT give you a buzz. They target teh opiate receptors that don't make you feel good. Some people get a light buzz on them.

Take Advil... it works better than morphine for controling pain.

and 5 somas........and i 22 oz miller lite...........now thats will take any pain away

that may be how they are desighned but chew up 2 or 3 7.5 and see if you dont get a buzz.

Bro if taking 4 vic 750's does not take away your pain then I dont think perks will do that much better. You must have a really high tollerance to pain pills. My personal fav's are the 1000mg hydro's.

i'm tired of seeing people talk about painkiller's. Too many good bro's have died because of this abuse. They take pk's just to train. If you took 4 vicodens 7.5 thats 30mg hydrocodone, and you should have felt something... if not then your tolerance is high. You should stop and rethink whats important. The other numbers on the PK label, such as 500, 750, or 1000 don't mean shit... its the mg's of acetaminophen (tylenol).

I think my body just has a bad reaction to vicodens. When I take them my pain either gets worse or I do not feel a thing. I'm just going to quit taking them. Might as well just stick to over the counter stuff for pain. I love the percs but no one carrys them anymore, just vicodens. Oh well.

For all you OC users...

My boy died July 27, 2002 from OC overdose...We've been eating them for years and mixing w/everything you can think of.The morning he died was probably the only time he didn't mix...He's also the second person i've known to die from OC's. He ate two 40's...We've done twice that +.He also acted completly normal before he went to sleep for the last time.Just trying to look out for my people.Later...
