Vicoden?

Distortion

New member
does anyone take vicoden regularily, my buddy takes it and he said he took 3 last night and woke up all sweaty at night. He asked me what i think happened i dont know, but i always tell him to stop doing it. Any ideas?

Vicoden is very bad for your liver. It's not the hydrocodone, it's the Acetaminophen that is contained in it. It also has some caffine in it I believe.

Very bad habit. I know first hand.

I love taking em from time to time, but I know it can be easy to get addicted. I have a friend that was taking 5 (500mg) pills at the same time, WITH 3-4 SOMA'S.

Bad for liver, but worse.. Opiates seriously lower T levels. not worth it. who cares about short term liver toxicicity - short term low T is much worse ;)

Concordsize, I thought all of the good one's were opiates (oxycodone etc..) Isn't Hydrocode just syntheic opiate? Is Codeine opiate based?

Vicodin are pretty good for killing pain, like a toothache but lousy for anything else. They make me feel ampy, almost like I took an upper. Upsets my stomach too if I take more than one.
For pain I prefer darvocets.

i hate vicodin. i cannot understand why people abuse it recreationally. now percodan, THAT one i can see why people like!

Acetaminophen is not an opiate, and you're TECHNICALLY right that the above (hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc.) are not opiates.

They're opiOIDS, which are completely synthetic orthologs of opiates. Regardless, they share the same pharmacology - addictive and otherwise - and must be treated with extreme care.

There's no two ways about it - you're wrong.

Yup. Just about all the "get high" painkillers are opiates. Or should I say synthetic opiates. Unless your pharmacist is handing out tar opium.
