Veteran lifter trying first cycle - need input

Hi guys,

I'm in my late 20s and and I've been training natty for about 8 years now. Right now I'm about 5'11" and 205 pounds at around 14% bodyfat. Recently I've been trying to cut down while maintaining my strength and most of my lean muscle mass. I ran Lyle MacDonald's Ultimate Diet 2.0 in July and August and got decent results, but not quite what I was looking for given the amount of effort involved. I've decided that it's time to take the next step and get some help.

I want to lose at least 10 more pounds and possibly up to 20. I just don't want my strength to drop off while I lose a ton of lean muscle mass. Also, for reasons I don't want to get into, I can't do injectables. Here's the cycle I've come up with:

Weeks 1-8

50 mg prochem anavar split into two doses per day, transaderm gel, clen 3 days a week (the plan is to go back to UD 2.0 and run clen on the ultra low calorie days from Monday to Wednesday at 80 mcg and then take Thursday to Sunday off), and armidex at 0.25 mg every three days or so (if necessary)

PCT

Nolva 20/20/10/10

I'll be taking Liv 52 throughout the cycle and pct. I'll probably also get blood work done during the 4th week.

Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!
 
- I'd review your pct. you are better off doing nothing at all than doing Nolva.

- you do not need arimidex since anavar doesn't aromatize and the transderm won't raise your E levels that far.

- I do not see the point to go on a very calorie diet, it won't work for long.

- why taking clen 3 days a week only ?
 
Why don't you think nolva is a good choice? What would you recommend instead?

Do you think transaderm will give enough of a test base?

What's the problem with running a low calorie diet? Also, the diet only has three and a half really low cal days followed by a 24 hour refeed period and then two days at about maintenance. Like I said, my goal isn't to gain mass.

I'm doing clen for 3 days a week during the two glycogen depletion workouts and on one of the cardio days (Monday to Wednesday). I don't want to be on it on my heavy lift days which are Thursday and Saturday. I suppose I could do it on Sunday as well, but I want to make sure my receptors have enough time to recover to keep it effective for 6 weeks of that program.
 
i never get why people want to make stuff up for their first cycle.

why not run a cycle that THOUSANDS of our members have run and had succes with.

you know something like test only.

test only. intense lifting. good cardio/hit and a good diet and you will reach your goals and it will be much safer than what you posted.

also your pct is about 15 years old and its not gonna help you much w/ that cycle. why do you think nolva will work?

research post cycle and unleashed. and the usage of HCG/Hcgenerate
 
diet is the least of the concerns although it is not optimal for when you are on gear
 
we are more concerned here with your cycle support supplements and pct. take the time to read around here and you will know why nolva is not a good idea.

getting a mild oral such as anavar and transderm as a test base might seem like a good idea but you will need liver support supplement like N2 Guard or Forged liver support. I can not advise about the transderm as I haven't tried but reviews are very solid regarding it.

I'm not familiar with UD2.0 but I did read alot for Lyle and he is usually on the spot so I wouldn't worry just make sure you understand what you are doing and why.

anyway I still believe test only for your first cycle will get you where you want and will be the best bang for buck.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. I'll read up on pct. Is Liv 52 not good enough for liver support? I've already ordered that but I definitely don't want to cut corners on stuff like that so if I need that other stuff I would certainly get it. Like I said, I plan to play it safe and get a full blood work up done at the halfway point as well.

^^^^^this is what will work to reach your goal!!!!!
im so confident because I have done it. I know how difficult it can be to push that last little bit of weight off. simple test only cycle, good cardio and weight training split and of course #1 DIET.
I think you're making the classic mistake of seriously over complicating it. I admire your thoroughness lol but you just need to keep it simple listen to these guys and you will get there...JMO.
 
ur cycle makes no sense

nolva for pct is fine
