very strange movie

the movie Gummo is one of the strangest movies I've seen. it is there with kids and crumb and american movie as a very strange documentary (the difference being that gummo and kids aren't real documentaries).
the dude that wrote gummo (and directed it) is the same one that wrote kids. but it takes it to a strange new level.

it is like sitting through a movie consisting of someone just grating their fingernails on a chalkboard

the whole movie was just fucking strange.

I was gonna hit the sack b/c I don't feel so great, but I just tossed in The Way of the Gun now and it is a refreshing mindless change. I don't see any old women in comas getting shot in the foot with BB pellets in this one
and it has a lot of random stars in it.

I noticed that movie's directior is the same one who directed a conversational movie while back, "KIDS". It made several headlines in news in early 90's. That actress, Chve is hot, indeed.

Glue sniffing, cat killing, and sex with a retarded prostitute. You put those things in a film, and you really can't get any better than that. My personal favorite scenes were the drunken armwrestling and the beloved Bunny Boy scene at the beginning.


Harmony Korine(director) makes a cameo in gummo too. He's the queer trying to get with the black midget on the couch.
