Very sad....re: Dimebag

Just watched the VH1 show on Pantera & seeing Darryl's GF, dad, Vince & crew break down was just sad......talented artist taken for no reason.....

Damage Plan played at my place of work the September before Darrell got shot. They were all sweethearts, and none of them had any attitude about playing in a small 300-capacity bar, when Pantera used to sell out stadiums. All the crew members were ex-Pantera too, and couldn't have been easier to work with. The standing joke was that when Pantera split, all the nice people went with Darrell and Vinnie, and all the assholes went with Phil.

They did seem like decent guys based on the interviews.....

Phil whined in the show cuz he wasn't allowed to the funeral......duh!!

yes it was sad. But he lead the lives of a 1000 men. Heaven always takes the good guys.

Very sad. I loved Pantera, back in the day. It's a crazy reason to die.
