okay just took my first shot of slin.. as stated before i could not get dextrose.. i went to gnc and boought several bottles of carbo force to take the place of it.. each bottle of carbo force contains 110 grams of carbs.. in the ingredients it states that there is maltodextrin, high fructose corn syrup, and dextrose.. is this good

Yes you can, go to cvs or another pharmacy and go back to the pharmacy, they always have diabetic shit right near the counter which include glucose tabs.

Depends on the breakdown of carbs in it. You want the short-acting dextrose and glucose, and not the complex HFCS sugars which need to break down to simpler sugars before being used by the body.

By the way, asking "is this good enough?" after already shooting yourself with insulin is a stupid move. Make sure to not repeat it.

i highly agree, insulin or any aas for that matter is not a "shoot first and ask questions later" deal..... ESPECIALLY insulin. i know first hand the dangers insulin.

Its a great replacement. I use a carbo force immediately after a slin shot.
But... you must follow up with a healthy carb/protein meal. Besides being common sense on the nutrition side, it is an absolute must.
Proper nutrition=no hypoglycemia

thanks bros i spent months reading before i even thought about it.. i new the carbo force would be good because it had dextrose in the ingredients and i actually googled "carbo force after taking slin" and i got into many threads discussing how people do the same thing.. i wanted to be absolutey for certain i appreciate that you guys care.. thanks you..i start pretty low 5 ius..i actually drank two of those carbo forces which was way to much but i wanted to be careful the first time.. i got a great pump.. feeling good..i just came off cycle last week and thats why i wanted to hit it up today.. i lost about 5 pounds of water.. every pound counts soo much to me
