Veggies question

YES

vegetables (as fruits) are mainly carbs (few proteins, little fat apart from nuts, avocados, coconuts and a fex other)

it depends what kind of veggies you are eating, you will just see a debate on this topic, in my opinon green veggies do not count as they are basically all carbs from fiber.

I agree with 110%. It depends on what type of vegetables you are eating, whether or not they are high in calories from carbs. I usually only eat vegetables that take a long time to eat--thats my general rule for determining whether or not a food is low GI.

I use to look at some vegetables that are relatively low in calories as mainly carbs, but I think that they have a decent amount of protein relative to their calorie amount.

my dinner is salmon with 1 1/2 zuchini, 1 carrot, 1/2 eggplant, 2 cups of spinach and 2 cups of brocholis... I mix everything in a blender and mix with the salmon! Taste AWESOME! I think thats ok to eat, right? Even veggies being carbs I still dont think they will cause a insulin spike

Those are all good veggies. I am not familiar with the nutritonal content of Eggplant, but I reckon that it's good from the way it looks.

Does veggies count as carbs?!?! Uhm I dont think so

Yes, count them as carbs. But just take the amount of carbs and subtract the amount of fiber in them, and that is the total amount of carbs.... Fiber is counted in carb total on the nutritional info on the bag, but fiber does not provide energy so jsut subtract it from the total
