I've been reading past topics for ages it seems now, but I'm not sure on the allowance of fibrous vegetables like celery/lettuce e.t.c on the CKD diet, can I eat too much of them? Do I even eat them at all?
generally 20-30g of carbs a day, which allows quite a bit of green vegetables. BTW, YES, green veggies are your best/healthiest carb source on low carb days, and will make it a lot easier to take a dump especially when adapting to the keto diet.
Most Vegetables have little caloric value since they are mostly fiber which humans can't digest. Eat a lot of them helps the body digest and they have some great vitamins and minerals...
