Var - how long is too long?

Hey Guys,

So I'm starting my next cycle in 2 weeks. It will consist of:

Test-E 250mg EW
Primo 600mg EW
Var 60mg ED

I was planning on running the Var for 8 weeks but am trying to decide on whether or not this is too long.

I will be taking liver support supps to help alleviate the stress from the oral, but still want your opinions on whether or not 8 weeks is pushing it.

I know some people never exceed 4 weeks on an oral by rule of thumb...

What do you think?

Thats a sweet cycle.Ive taken BTG var at 25mg ed for almost a year before with very little negative side effects At the time they were easily obtainable so i had a why not attitude. You should be fine

Thanks bro. Also, pre-cycle blood work showed no red flags across the board so I was thinking I should be fine with the right liver support.

The cycle should be great. Aiming to get down to 6-8% bf.

Keep an eye on your lipids, HDL/LDL ratios etc. var is know for being a bit harsh on that. Taking some fish oil wouldn't hurt either.

I think you should pretty much be able to feel when your body is saying ENOUGH

Get some Omega 3,6,9 supps and 2000 mg of niacin a day (in one dose - not time release or non-flush). This will greatly help your lipids.

ANAVAR is a fairly mild AAS. You can run it 10-12 wk cycles with no problems.

My multi includes the daily recommended value of Niacin. I did some research on the top which suggests that doses above 500mg a day, when taken on a consistent basis, can CAUSE liver damage.

I'll stick to the liver support, fish oil, multi etc

The Mayo Clinic and The Cleveland clinic would disagree with you. In fact their studies say that short of a statin, niacin is the best we have for lowering LDL and increasing the size of the particle. The Mayo report (of 2500 people studied over 2 years) does say that liver values did fluctuate in 3 people, but it was later found that 2 of those people were all taking Tylenol for arthritis pain. The report out of the Cleveland clinic does not mention liver function and they only tested 900 people but did follow them for 4 years.

Fair enough.

Still, there is enough info out there about excess Niacin increasing liver enzymes to make me steer clear of it. I'm confident I can control my lipids with the other array of supps.

An Indian Ayurvedic Product - Lasuna - works GR8 in lowering cholesterol and balancing lipids. It is made by the same company that manufactures Liv52. Above all, no sides :qt:

I take it year round as part of my supplementation.

I used an omega 3,6,9 complex along with red yeast rice and a very tight diet. Ran Var and Winny and after 1.5 months my lipids came back exceptionally good.

Just my .02. I start feeling var effects after about 3 weeks & make good gains until about the 6th week. After that period of time I feel no more gains & my blood pressure seems to get a little high, so for me, 6 wks is enough.
